Good experience with Mr. Kong Hing as he was patient with me looking through and attended when I needed him to. He did not try to hard sell me and just advised as is which was nice 👍🏻 Overall price here are not the cheapest considering the other jewellery shops along the row. But the sales people here made me felt the most comfortable as they don't push on you while you're still making up your mind.

Sour face manager that seemed to look offended when I asked her a question in English. Looked me up and down in my shorts and flip flops. Made me not really want to step in and browse. Disappointed as we purchased a thick gold chain from them recently. Should have given our business to a more friendly and customer oriented goldsmith without face problem.

I've shopped here twice and both times were pleasant. The ladies who attended to me were friendly and honest. One of them advised me on the most cost-effective way of trading in old gold and proactively replaced a gold chain after detecting workmanship issues (that were not obvious to me) during packing. They didn't appear to judge customers because the whole time I was there, they attended to customers in the same friendly manner regardless of the way they dressed/appeared. I've found myself a regular goldsmith especially after my recent bad experience at Sungai Buloh.

Weng Kwong SS2 branch is unscrupulous and dishonest. On 19 Feb 2022, I took my two daughters for ear piercing. I was told it’s RM50. I mistakenly thought that’s the price for one. So when only one daughter proceeded with the ear piercing, I handed RM50 to the staff. She said it’s only RM25 but when she saw the money, she quickly corrected herself. Then she said that they don’t issue receipts for this type of transaction. What nonsense. I should have insisted on a receipt. Very dishonest. A week later, my other daughter decided she wanted to get her ears pierced too. Took her to Poh Kong 1 Utama. Only RM30 and I got a receipt! Poh Kong is legit. DO NOT GO TO WENG KWONG. They will CHEAT you. Very disappointed.
