Chan Keow Watch Trading

Needed my mum's watch, an old mechanical with the main winding pin broken, fixed. Also brought another 80s piece my gifted me to have the battery replaced. Came to know of this shop via a newspaper article. I pressed on visiting, despite the jouney down to Port Swettenham, as i believed the sister who ran the joint would be able to work her magic. I found parked at the rear of the shop. I was greeted by one of two Indonesian helpers. She opened both and informed she couldn't fix either. Fair enough. But could she have at least enquired with the proprietress, whom i caught sight of playing a game on her phone in the living room behind the shop, i wonder.

I recently brought two of my watches to this shop for repair after water had gotten into them. The staff were honest and transparent, taking the time to explain in detail that it wouldn’t be worth repairing them, as the water resistance wouldn’t last even after fixing. I really appreciated their honesty and professionalism. In the end, I decided to purchase a new watch from them at a very reasonable price. Great service and trustworthy advice, highly recommended!
